This work was commissioned by Tokyo Trombone Quartet and completed in January 1987, my first work for trombone ensemble.
It incorporates popular elements and a relaxed feel to enjoy in performance.
The song is a suite consisting of five movements, "Morning Song -- toward a Street," "Merchant from South," "Parade," "Lullaby," and "Finale." It depicts a day in a city with a scenic atmosphere and music.

*Performance Notes
The context is familiar and relatable. I hope you enjoy portraying the image of the story shown in the subtitle. As it was written for the Tokyo Trombone Quartet with their technique and experience, the range is difficult and it is necessary to master the required playing skills.

Premiere: Tokyo Trombone Quartet 7th subscription concert at Ishibashi Memorial Hall on April 17, 1987.
