This work is a rearrangement of a trio ensemble commissioned by Matsue Nishi High School Band in 2021 to a flexible composition in 2022.

In a time when all kinds of "distances" are demanded, I composed this piece on the theme of "distance" in music and was inspired by "three persons, three different ways," "trinity," and "three monks," in reference to the trio.

The passages written in octaves, please feel free to choose the appropriate one according to the instrument and the difficulty level.
Looking forward to various configurations and combinations, such as trios of homogeneous instruments, trios of dissimilar instruments, and duplicated trios.
