This work, Danza Struttura III, is the third installment in the Danza Struttura series (meaning "Structured Dance"). Danza Struttura I and II were composed in 2022 and 2023 for the brass section of the Arpeggio Wind Orchestra. The present piece was commissioned by the same ensemble in 2024.While this piece shares several motifs with I and II, instrumentation differs due to the commission's requirements of: Trumpets 1 - 3, Horn 1, Trombones 1 - 2, Bass Trombone 1, and Tuba 1.Each performer is expected to demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency. At the same time, attention should also be given to the layering of sonorities and the subtle transitions of harmony, with the aim of achieving a performance that is both expressive and richly textured.
