As an instrumental work celebrating the beautiful "Sakura" that Japanese adore, this work was selected as a test piece for the All-Japan Band Competition in 2012. Since then, it has been adapted into a wide range of formats, including wind band, various ensembles, orchestral, and choral works. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has performed this piece.
Due to numerous requests, we have prepared versions for solo performance by standard wind band instrumentation. I hope you enjoy them.
- When performing, focus on solistic expression without being influenced by other arrangements.
- Feel free to alter octaves according to the performer's skill level and interpretation.
- If cuts are necessary due to time constraints for contest, please still maintain a natural flow.
