In recent years we can feel gloomy due to various world events. I wanted to create a piece that would allow us to leave our daily lives and immerse ourselves in the world of music that we love, at least when we play our instruments, and this led me to create something as refreshing as a gentle breeze.
All instruments are easy to play in terms of register and technique, yet contain various musical elements such as main melody and counter-melody. Both advanced players and beginners can play them without difficulty and enjoy the music itself.
Since many optional instruments have been set up, the band can play with as few as 9 members, but adding options and playing with 10 or more to around 30 players will reduce the burden on each player and create a thicker, more stable sound.
The percussion part can be played by just one person, in which case a suspended cymbal is placed in front of the timpani, and the two instruments are played simultaneously with the same mallets. If there are many percussionists, the percussion parts are written in such a way that each can play an active part by dividing one part between two players.
