The march depicts the Chao Phraya River, a major river in Thailand. Traditional songs related to the Royal Barge Processio, which are closely associated with the Chao Phraya River, are also quoted. Two traditional Thai percussion instruments are used, but they can be substituted by ordinary instruments.
