The "Concerto for Wind Orchestra" utilizes nearly the largest possible ensemble for wind orchestra, spanning five movements and requiring 25 minutes to perform. Every instrument plays a vital role, inspired by the great masters (Bartok and Lutos?awski) and thus titled "Concerto." The five movements are intricately interrelated, forming an inseparable bond.

The first movement, "Maestoso," features a powerful, festive fanfare.
The second movement, "Pregando," translates to "praying" and contrasts two motifs: a mystical and Oriental alto flute solo at the beginning and an ascetic, Western-style horn solo. These two motifs play significant roles in the subsequent movements.
The third movement, "Scherzoso," uses rhythms found in traditional Korean music, specifically the jangdan patterns of Tondokkun and Semachi, offering a humorous contrast to the other movements.
The fourth movement, "Affettuoso," is aptly titled "with affection," showcasing the woodwinds in extensive lyrical passages.
The final movement, "Festivo," builds on the third movement through variations, incorporating elements from the other movements for a comprehensive finale.
