Commissioned for the Toyama Minami Wind Orchestra brass ensemble, Intrada II represents the first chamber ensemble piece composed by Satoshi Yagisawa. Modified for the flexible ensemble format, a fresh approach has been created by means of minor alterations to both the length and tempo of the composition. The instrumentation, including an option to omit part 4 to accommodate 7 parts instead of 8, makes this work easily adaptable to the needs of each individual performing ensemble.
