The concept of this piece is "Japanese", "Jungle" and "Jam", meaning "Jam session with a jungle image by Japanese". It is a piece for players to freely express their intuition with African percussion instruments. Originally, it was composed for percussion group "O-gun". For the publication, I specified the instruments and created the score.

However, the specifications and score are for reference only. If using Brazilian percussion, it will be Brazilian style, and if Japanese, it will be Japanese style. With percussion from various countries, it evokes a multinational atmosphere. Solo phrasing and length depend on the player.

The true joy of this work is to use the instruments around you and assemble the ensemble with the above concept. I hope that the players will enjoy communicating with each other on stage and create an imaginative JJJ performance that will amaze me.
