This piece is structured on instruments' characteristic timbre. I utilized the wide range and dexterity unique to the brass octet. The music flows forward with intriguing dissonant and consonant harmonies. The effect is sometimes disturbed with intermittent sounds which make the progress of the music more interesting.
Composed for and premiered at the Kano vs Ehara Wind Band Creation Battle concert on May 5th 2015.
