Bird's-eye melodies reveal mountains and valleys with soaring panoramic freedom.
2 Euphoniums
3 Tubas

Commissioned and premiered by Sonorite Kofu Wind Orchestra Euphonium Tuba Ensemble.
A bird's-eye view is a landscape in which mountains, valleys, and buildings emerge three-dimensionally. What kind of scenery will you see looking at the lower world while flying freely in the sky, as if you were on a small glider? Don't be heavy, and play lightly, paying attention to the rise and intensity of the sound.
For actual performance, it is easier to play if you use an instrument matching the range and part motility, for example, 1st Tuba on Eb or F tuba, 2nd and 3rd on BBb. The change of instrument type depending on the part will be effective. In particular, 1st Tuba has a lot of motion and a slightly higher range, so I think it's better to use a slender and small tuba.
