Commissioned for the 2nd Yumi Terada Marimba & Percussion Recital on June 2006, the first thought coming to the composer's mind was "Rin," a word meaning "fresh" or "invigorating". He portrays the clean and precise image of the word with layered sound and driven rhythms, pointedly expressing the impact of taiko drum effects with the use of modern percussion. It showcases the spatial depth and color of this world fusion.
