Commissioned by flute ensemble "FLASH." The members requested a fun piece, enjoyable for those unfamiliar with classical music. The song has a gentle, sweet melody with a touch of Baroque. Five players play five movements of expressions including "Congratulations," "I'm sorry," "I love you," "Goodbye," and "Thank you." These words are universal, and I think are emotional and pervasive for all. What do these words mean to you?
