Danza Struttura II was commissioned in 2023 by brass members of the Arpeggio Wind Orchestra. It is a sequel to "Danza Struttura" (meaning "Structured Dance") for the same ensemble in 2022.
While conscious of its connection to the previous work and using some common motifs, this piece differs significantly in that it was conceived from the beginning to include two horns and features many solos for each instrument. I hope you will explore brass instruments' advanced techniques and expressions while engaging with this piece.
