This piece was commissioned by the Kasuga City Symphonic Band for Its 40th Anniversary Regular Concert.

The composition is a project series continuing from a decade ago consisting of three pieces: I. Fanfare, II. Gesang, and III. Finale.

"I. Fanfare" is a festive symphonic fanfare in a short three-part form. The percussion section takes the lead.
"II. Gesang" is a slightly eccentric feel with Cor Anglais and Flugelhorn. It may sound like a string ensemble with Cor Anglais and Flugelhorn. It's very different from so-called "band" style.
"III. Finale" is a fast-moving allegro with a short coda. You might find it familiar, something you've heard in the past. The combination and balance of each voice part is essential. In the latter half, the fanfare of the first movement is heard, then the tempo increases and the piece ends with a flourish.
