German composer, organist, pianist and conductor Max Reger (1873-1916) composed "Fantasia and Fugue on B-A-C-H" for organ. In this arrangement for band, part assignments, keys and musical characters differ, yet the work is well-integrated. The original consists of fantasy and fugue, total duration 20 minutes. In this arrangement, both sections are combined within about 10 minutes. I also added some textures to enhance sonority and the fuller symphonic character of the band.
